Selected Form Six Students Will Participate in JKT 2022 National Service was established on July 10, 1963, as a result of the ideas of the late President Julius K. Nyerere, the “Father of the Nation,” who once stated, “National Service is the demand made by the nation on the youth and the youth’s response to fulfilling their responsibility in building the nation.” Selected Form 6 students to join JKT 2022
The JKT National Service Selection List consists of the names of Form Six students chosen for JKT training in various JKT camps. The National Service typically releases Form 6 JKT selection lists following a random selection exercise.
JKT SECOND SELECTION The Commander-in-Chief of the National Service (JKT), Brigadier General Rajabu Mabele, has instructed them to report to the camps all youths who were summoned to attend JKT training in accordance with the law for the year 2021 but have not yet reported.
In addition, the Army for Nation Building has added the names of youths who graduated from Form Six in 2021 to the list of youths previously invited to participate in the training. In 2021, JKT training, in accordance with the law, will last only three months. Graduates with physical disabilities must report to the Ruvu JKT camp in the Mlandizi Coast Region, which is equipped with infrastructure to serve the community.

The National Service was established by the National Service Act to bring together the youth of Tanzania for the following purpose:
- Work together in order to build a sense of nationalism.
- Develop cultural and sociological awareness.
- Provide skills, build economic independence, and reduce unemployment.
- Train and develop the youth for national service and assist the government during natural disasters and calamities.
- Build and develop the national economy.
- Provide military training for national defence.
OBJECTIVES (Objectives)
1. Youth Enhancement Young people are taught to love one another regardless of ideological, religious, ethnic, or economic differences. Enjoy making crafts. Appreciating and fostering traditions, and customs, and preserving the nation’s culture. Be confident, devoted, patriotic, and confident citizens.
National Security To provide young people with military skills as a reserve army, and to prepare them to join other Defence and Security organisations. To prepare youth to assist in a variety of disasters, including floods, fires, and accidents.
3. Production Resources To convince young Tanzanians that office work is not the only and best way to survive, it is necessary to dispel the notion that office work is the only and best way to make a living.
JKT is responsible for wealth creation with the objective of enabling young people to become self-employed in a variety of industries immediately after signing a contract with JKT. JKT’s production of assets includes: – constructing and renovating structures Commerce and agriculture Minerals and Energy Tourism Security Services for Private Security Stores (Super Market) Connecting vehicles to equipment Educational facilities
